Membrane pool cover is a project developed for a private client, the goal was to design a pool that can be enjoyed both in winter and summer season.
“Inspired by ‘Oculus’, which is literally translated to a round or eyelike opening or design…”
Inspired by ‘Oculus’, which is literally translated to a round or eyelike opening or design, our membrane pool cover offers a dry covered area along the perimeter of the pool. The shape of the oculus is determined after a thorough analysis of sun and shade during both winter and summer time.

The pool can be enclosed by curtains for shelter; however, you can still have an openness feeling with the transparency of the curtain’s material. In a warm sunny day, the curtains can be opened and concealed completely within the volume designated for showering area.
